Wilma Duncan

November 15, 1949 — March 16, 2014

Wilma Ruth Duncan was born November 15th, 1949 to Robert Martin Brent and Abi Ruth Johnson in Bexar County, Texas

On the 16th of March 2014, Heaven received the most beautiful Angel ever. My sweet, beautiful, amazing Mama and best friend got her wings. I was so blessed to be able to care for her in our home for the last fourteen years and was able to be by her side as she took her last breath. It was an honor to show her the love she had shown me as a child and young adult. Everything I am, I owe to her, she was the biggest influence on me and I hope I am half the woman, friend, wife and Mama she was. While my heart is aching, I know she is finally free to walk, run, and be free! I am so thankful to my husband, Eric and Mother-in-law, Dora who helped me care for her all these years, for without them, I could not have done it. I know she will always watch over me and my family and for that I can be at peace. I love you with all my heart and soul, Mama and I will see you again one day. I am everything I am because you loved me.
By, Amanda Nickole Feyrer

She was preceeded in death by her parents, and husband Benny Duncan and survived by her daughter, Amanda Feyrer, two sons Kelly and Cliffton Niemietz and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

FILL NOT YOUR HEARTS

Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow,
But remember me in every tomorrow.
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles,
I've only gone to rest awhile.
Although my leaving causes pain and grief,
My going has eased my hurt and given relief.
So dry your eyes and remember me,
Not as I am but as I used to be.
Because, I will remember you all and look on
With a smile.
Understand in your hearts, I've only gone to
Rest awhile.
As long as I have the love of you,
I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.
