Willie R. Scallion, Jr.

Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, and Dear Friend , entered into eternal rest on June 21, 2023 at the young age of 59 in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born to the union of Willie Ray Scallion Sr. and Earline Coleman Scallion on August 1, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas. Willie Jr. was a faithful servant who believed in his Lord Savior. He was one to ensure he put God as the head of his life.

Willie graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1981. Received his Certification thru Cummins and Bosch Corp. as a Diesel Injection Specialist. Willie Jr. and his Dad than established W & W Diesel and Automotive.

Willie became friends with Sharon Carson when she was 12, and in 1988 reunited with his friendship and they joined in holy matrimony in 1990. Their marriage was a reflection of true love. After sharing a blessed marriage of 37 years, Willie departed his life on June 21, 2023.

As a loving husband and father, Willie devoted his life to provide a strong foundation for his family as well as welcoming everyone with love, respect and kindness, His family and friends always described him as a man who considered his actions in a good and just manner. He consistently provided a safe and secure home that was built on  faith and trust and always looking for the best in others.

Willie was an honorable man who instilled those same core values in his home as well as those he surrounded himself with. Willie was a physical example of a mile high mountain that Sharon was his horizon who covered and protected him as anybody could imagine a beautiful sunset that provided warmth, comfort, acceptance, and peace. Willie will always be an indelible mark in our hearts and forever be remembered and cherished by all.

Willie’s Father, Mr. Willie Ray Scallion Sr., Mother,  Mrs. Earline Coleman Scallion, Brother, Charles Ray Scallion Sr., and Nephew Stephan Henderson preceded him in death.

Willie leaves to cherish his devoted wife of 37 years Dr. Sharon D. Scallion.,

Sons: Keyston Clay, (Kristen), Willie Scallion III, (Mariah), Deonte’ Scallion, (Dynisha)

Brothers: Glen Scallion (Shetina), and Richard Scallion (Linda);

Mother-in-Law: George Ann Brown (Frank); Brothers-in-Law: Thomas Carson Jr., (Lavinia); Gerald    Carson (Ingrid).

Aunts: Evelyn Boyd, and Bettie Bryant. Debra Sommers, Beverly Ann Wilson, & Frankie Martin

Uncle:  Eddie Martin
