William Sullivan

July 16, 1934 – March 31, 2018

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that William F. “Gramps” Sullivan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, passed away in his sleep in the comfort of his home at the young age of 83.

Bill’s life and love enriched all who knew him. During a 20-year career of service in the United States Air Force, he found his life's purpose discovering the love of his life and, soon after, became a wonderful father to three children. He was later blessed with the miracle of his true vocation – grandfather-hood and became lovingly and referred to as "Gramps".

Bill was an active member of the St. Monica's choir for over three decades where he enjoyed performing with his friends. His service of 25 years to St. Vincent de Paul, helping those in need enriched his life and humbled everyone who received God's blessing. His love lives on in his precious children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and in each of our hearts.

Bill is survived by his wife Sueko “Amy”, his children Niomie, Kim, & Bobby, his 35 grandchildren & great grandchildren, his sister Mary, brother-in-law Frank Terrasi, and a community of friends who will miss him deeply.

The family will receive friends for a viewing and wake on Friday, April 6th, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home & Crematory, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Road, San Antonio, TX 78239, and a Funeral Mass will be held with a date to be determined at our parish, St. Monica’s Catholic Church, 501 North St, Converse, TX 78109.
