Walter Osbourne

Walter L. Osbourne, of Converse, Texas, passed away on December 20th, 2014. He was born in Mecklenburg, South Carolina on March 26th, 1942. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rebecca Vasquez Osbourne in 2011. A veteran of the United States Air Force who served in Viet Nam, he was an active member of the Non-Commissioned Officers' Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4676, and American Legion Auxiliary Post 593, and retired from the Judson ISD. He is survived by his son, Walter L. Osbourne ll, daughter, Cynthia Diane Osbourne, stepsons, James Rollins, Richard Rollins and Jerald Rollins. Also four step-grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. There will be a visitation at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., Monday, January 5th, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm. Betty Rollins will officiate. Interment will be Tuesday, January 6th, 2015 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10am. A Celebration of Life will be held at American Legion Post 593, Wednesday, January 7th, 2015, at 4pm.
