Vicenta Estorga, 70, was called into eternal rest, Sunday, December 10, 2017. Before her retirement in 2011, she served as a kitchen manager for the Floydada Baptist Encampment for more than 25 years for all Christian youth in the surrounding areas. Early on, Vicenta resolved to commit herself to a Christian life. She was an active, strong and dedicated church member of Primera Iglesia Bautista and a volunteer in her community at the Spirit of Sharing in Floydada, TX.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Aurora Salazar and her loving and devoted husband, Ezequiel Estorga. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Ana B. Mendoza, Alma Delia Tirado, Selene Mendez-Orosco, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brothers Salvador Chavez, Adan Lopez, and sister Margarita Landeros along with other family members and life-long friends that will miss her immensely.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 5:00pm for family members and 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm for the public at Chapel Hill Funeral Home located at 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd, San Antonio, TX 78239.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow immediately at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
