Vernon Webb

Vernon Arlis Webb was embraced by his Heavenly Father on March 20th, 2015 at the age of 64. He was born on October 1st, 1950, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Arlis and Lila Webb. He is survived by his wife of four years Jacquelyn Freasier Webb; granddaughter Phoenix Webb; daughter and son-in-law Marcie and Casey Danahey, their sons Finn and Devin; his son and daughter-in-law Brandon and Clarissa Webb, their daughter and son Kolbe and son Beckett; sister and brother-in-law Bobbie Jean Dan Johnston; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was greeted in Heaven by his wife of 35 years Judy Kay Webb; daughter Michell Diann Webb; sisters Grace Fortune and Faye George; and his parents.
Vernon graduated from Cross Plains High School in 1969 and Howard Payne University in 1973. He fulfilled his life's calling by investing in the lives of countless children and teenagers throughout his career as a social worker. Vernon was a man of great commitment to his God, his family and his work.
Visitation will be tuesday from 5pm to 8pm and funeral Wednesday at 1pm. Both services will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home; 7735 Gibbs Sprawl, San Antonio, TX 78239.
