Sylvia Franklin

Sylvia Franklin, of San Antonio, passed away on Wednesday, November 04, 2020 at the age of 59. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Joe Martinez Jr. and Adelita Medina on September 16, 1961.

Sylvia is survived by her loving husband, Jason Franklin; her parents, Robert and Adelita Hernandez; siblings, Nancy Thompson and Gerhart Thompson , Christina Hebert, Angel Martinez, Frank Martinez, Edward Martinez, Joe Martinez Jr., and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Most days, you would have found Sylvia playing BINGO or being outdoors, basking in the sun. She was a great listener; no matter the topic, she was very respectful to others’ opinions. Like a loving mother, she was patient with everyone, especially her nieces and nephews. Without a doubt, you could tell she loved her family very much.

Visitation services for Sylvia Franklin will be held on November 17, 2020 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 12:30PM. Graveside services are scheduled at Fort Sam Houston on November 17, 2020 at 2:30PM.
