Danny Lawerence Goldman
Danny “Dan,” Goldman, received his wings on Sunday February 9, 2025.
Danny was born to Sam and Joyce on September 21, 1943, in Denver Colorado. Dan enjoyed being a member of the Boy Scouts receiving multiple awards dating back to April of 1956. Dan enlisted into the Army after graduating from East High School in Denver, Colorado in 1961.
Dan would serve his Country for 31 years in the U.S.Army achieving the rank of Sergeant Major. Dan completed two combat tours in Vietnam with his Special Forces Group. Dan wore his Special Forces and Airborne Tabs with Pride and Honor for twenty-six of his thirty-one years. He was awarded the Legion of Merit, a Bronze Star, multiple Unit Citations and Commendations along with various Campaign Medals and Honors. While serving, Dan found the time to obtain his Master’s Degree from Webster University in Management and Human Resources.
Upon his retirement in 1992, Dan continued sharing his experiences and leadership in multiple roles, until he found his passion working at AAFES on Randolph Air Force Base. Dan exceled in customer service leading him to management prior to finally retiring for good.
Dan is survived by his wife of 46 years Inge, his son Gene and his wife May, his son Axel “A.J.” and his wife Tina and grandsons Kyle and Mason, and his daughter Crystal and grandson Justin Blaze.
Dan has touched the lives of countless people in his lifetime and will leave a void in this world and our hearts.
