Rosalina Mccampbell

Rosalina Manuel McCampbell was one of twelve children born to Esteban and Maria Santos Manuel. She was born June 28, 1924 in Manila, Philipines. She met and married Amil Jackson, Sr. and they became the parents of Christina Jackson Morgan, Amil Jackson, Jr. and Freddie Jackson. Rosalina was preceded in death by her son Amil Jackson Jr., killed in action in Quang Ngai, Vietnam while honorably serving his country. Rosalina Manuel McCampbell fought the fight of good faith and then departed this life Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2:46 a.m. at her home in San Antonio, Texas. She leaves to cherish her life and memory two children: Christina Jackson Morgan (Elder) of San Antonio, Texas and Freddie Jackson (Patricia) of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren: LaRachelle S. Smith (Carlton, Lt. Col., US Army) of Houston, Texas, Chief Petty Officer Christopher M. Morgan, USN (Jennifer) of Zion, Illinois, Jennifer M. Morgan of San Antonio, Texas, Bryan Jackson Of Houston, Texas, Derrick Jackson (Josephina) of Houston, Texas, and Darrell Clark of San Antonio, Texas. She also leaves behind twelve great grandchildren: Major J. Smith, Andrea Smith and Jocelyn Smith Kang (SeYong) of Houston, Texas, Tae Morgan and Cam Linh Morgan of Zion, Illinois, Deja Morgan of Austin, Texas, Triniti and Mila Morgan of San Antonio, Texas Trey and Christian Jackson of Houston, Texas, Damien and Landon Jackson; two great great grandchildren; GaRam and GaOn Kang of Houston, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx 78239 on February 5th, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. A funeral will be held, also at Chapel Hill Funeral Home at 12:00 Noon, February 5, 2016 with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
