Robert Dale Perry

Robert Dale Perry (76) was born on March 15, 1948, and passed away on September 30, 2024, at home with his beloved wife Onson. Robert (Bob) Perry was one of 4 children born to Harvey and Marian Perry in Thompson Fall, Montana. He leaves behind his son Daniel (Tiffany) Perry and daughter Constance (Greg) Simpson.

Bob was preceded in death by his daughter Jacqueline Perry and parents Marian and Harvey Perry.

After graduating, Bob enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War from 1967-1968. After the war, Bob met and married his first wife Gail. Bob and Gail traveled with their 3 kids Dan, Jaci, and Coni. Their first daughter Jaci, sadly died at the young age of 4. Bob spent over 25 years serving in the U.S. Army he retired from the civil service as a contract engineer where he met and married his current wife of 17 years, Onson Perry in Soul Korea.

Bob enjoyed trips to the casino and hated being cold, saying it made his joints ache, which landed him and Onson in Texas. The highlights of his days were spent with his dog and cats, he loved cooking and watching Onson working in her garden.

Along with his children, he leaves behind his loving wife Onson,12 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Though Bob is no longer with us, the love, joy, and wisdom he brought to those around them will continue to live on. Family and friends will forever cherish the memories shared and Bob's impact on their lives. May he rest in peace and remain in our hearts always.

Visitation will be at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 9 am to 11 am with the memorial service immediately following. Internment service will be at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 pm.

A reception will be at a restaurant to be announced.
