Richmon Walden
October 1, 1918 — April 21, 2015
Richmon Walden was born October 1, 1918 in De View, Arkansas and entered into eternal rest on April 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Margarette Walden. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Sylvia Kelsey Walden; and son, Donald Walden; daughter, Dawna Walden; granddaughter, Lisa Cortez Walden and her husband, T.J. Gonzales; great granddaughter, Sophia Gonzales; and two sisters, Oma Vee and Nancy Ethel Lee. He is also survived by a host of friends and neighbors. Richmon was a quiet and unassuming man who loved the Lord with all his heart and was faithful first to God, his family and to his country. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 27th, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78239. Interment with full military honors will follow immediately at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
