Ricardo Saenz

Ricardo Andres Saenz, of Converse, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the young age of 47. He was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on February 12, 1974 to Dionicio and Maria T. “Terri” (Vasquez) Saenz.

He is survived by his parents, Dionicio and “Terri” Saenz; his children, Victoria Saenz, Christina Saenz and Andrew Saenz; brother, Dionicio Saenz, Jr., and wife Rose; niece and nephew, Joaquin and Sophia Saenz.

Ricardo was a hard-working man. He proudly worked his way from contract labor to full time and eventually spending 6 years with the Boeing Company. He took much pride in his position of Supply Chain Manager, contributing to military fighter and refueling aircraft, and especially Air Force One. Despite all of Rick’s health issues, he persevered to prove that he was capable and worthy.

Fishing and spending time on the family boat were some of the things that Ricardo enjoyed doing. He was known for working on and taking care of his vehicles, especially his Infinity. Funny with a great sense of humor is how his family and friends remember him. His witty character had a way of making others laugh, even when they didn’t feel up to it.

Rick will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

The Family will greet the public on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the chapel.
