Rene Gutierrez

Rene Gutierrez was born on November 14, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas to parents David and Lydia Gutierrez. He went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving wife and family at the age of 53.

Rene was a very proud Grandfather and die hard Green Bay Packers Fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lydia Gutierrez and father David Gutierrez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Sherry.

Siblings – Eloisa Urias, Charlie Gutierrez (Wife Lori), Sally Garcia, Velma Flores, Mary Arocha, Esther Lopez (Husband Joe).

Daughters – Jessica Navarro (Husband Daniel), Ashley Gutierrez, Siarra Gutierrez, & Hannah Hinderscheit.

Numerous nephews and nieces.

Rene’s pride and joy were his two grandchildren, Gavin and Aubrey Navarro.

Memorial services will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12th from 5-9pm. Funeral services are on Wednesday, June 13th at 10am.

Rene’s wife and daughters are sincerely grateful to the caring nurses of Heartland Hospice and especially thankful for Deanna Gray FNP, for her unconditional support and exceptional care.
