Rena Christine Gallardo, of San Antonio, entered heavenly rest on Monday, February 15, 2021 at the age of 36. She was born on August 30, 1984 to Joel Olea Gallardo and Angela Julia Rosado.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joel O. Gallardo; paternal grandmother, Josie Salas; maternal grandparents, Maria and Rafael Rosado, cousins, Cathy Chavera and Alexander Schugg; as well as family friend, Earnest Gold.
Survivors include her children, Aaliyah Christine Corona, Mia-Mya Faith Ramos, Nalah Cherish Alicea-Madera, and Noah Chase Alicea-Madera; mother, Angela J. Rosado; siblings, Angie Christina Aguirre and husband Joseph, Joel Gallardo II, and Joelene Garza; aunt and uncle, Monica and Ben Garza; her best friend, Kemberly Cortez; and the Corona Family.
Rena’s family will remember her for an abundance of memories, her talents, and her character. She was fond of poetry and used it as an art to express herself and her feelings about life. She enjoyed any opportunity to sing and dance. She was a loving and caring person that was warm and giving. Never judgmental, she accepted others and took those in, and would even feed those that were less fortunate. She loved to cook breakfast any time of the day and appreciated cooking to show love for her family and friends. She was a strong woman and displayed great leadership qualities.
Her family and friends will remember and miss her greatly.
The Visitation will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service to be held at 6:00 p.m. The services will conclude in the chapel.
