Rebecca L. West and Baby Axel R. West

We mourn the passing of Rebecca Leann West and her unborn son Axel who left us to soon at the age of 28yrs old. Rebecca was a selfless mother to her beloved little boys, whose lives she enriched with her unwavering love and dedication to them having a better life, by giving them a loving family to care for them. She was a cherished daughter, sister, niece and aunt, whose presence brought warmth and joy to those around her. 

Rebecca was also a passionate student, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, where she received excellent grades, with plans to graduate in March 2027. Commitment to her education was a testament to her determination and drive to make a positive impact in the world, and her life. She was also a skilled photographer and an animal lover. 

Her memory will be held dear by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Though her time with us was brief, Rebecca's legacy of love, resilience, and ambition will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was known for dancing to the beat of her own drum, and following her heart.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her loving parents; Wayne and Carol West, her sister Malissa Beard, her brother William Brown, her Aunt Cheryl Brown,and bio Mother Suzanne Joseph. She survived by her adopted family & bio siblings Brandy, Matthew,Nathan, Jessica & Many Aunts,Uncles, Nieces & Nephews!

To Honor Rebecca & Baby Axel Rene West we will be having the Viewing Friday, August, 23rd 2024 from 4pm/ 6 pm following a service at 6pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
