Raymond Myers

Raymond Harvey Myers was born on 10/6/1934 and passed away peacefully on 3/12/23.  He served in the Army National Guard Reserves for 9 years, worked in the banking industry for many years in the Chicago land area and for V&R Auto in Lisle , Illinois until he retired and moved to South Central Texas in 2016.  Ray was a longtime member of The Knights of Columbus and really enjoyed volunteering for many organizations over the years.  Ray is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ida; children, Karen Rogers (Tom) of Georgetown, Texas, Lisa Myers (Scot) of Converse, Texas, son, Jeff (Madonna) of Sebastian, Florida, grandchildren, Brandon Rogers (Lauren), Justin Rogers (Nina), Kyle Rogers (Rachel), Dylan Rogers (Minerva), Nicholas Keel, Travis Myers, Shannon Jordan (Wil), Sydney Myers, great-grandson, Parker Rogers, brother, Mike Lankes (Barb), sister, Ann Miller (Dennis),  brother, Alan Myers, and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet, father, Ralph, stepfather, AB, sisters, Shirley and Joan, and granddaughter, Shelby.

Ray was such a kind man who was happiest when he was with his family and helping others.  In lieu of flowers, please perform an act of kindness, lend a hand to someone or volunteer your time in his memory.
