Raul Hernandez

Raul Rene Hernandez was born on May 20, 1980. He passed away November 6, 2017. He had a huge heart, big goals and dreams. He never gave up and accomplished one of his major goals in May 2017. He received his BS in Engineering from UTSA. He was excited to begin his career as a Mechanical Engineer. He was the example of the American Dream, brought over by his mother from Mexico just before turning one. He was a fighter, strong willed person who enjoyed baseball, beer, friends, and most importantly, watching his sons grow up alongside his wife whom he loved. He loved to give advice and explain math to everyone. He loved his LA Dodgers. He always left a lasting impact on those he met. He will be missed forever, but his infectious laugh never forgotten. He is survived by his wife Rosy, his boys, Raul Fermin and Rene Antonio Hernandez, his parents Raul and Maria Hernandez, his sister, Estrella Contreras, his little brother Daniel K Hernandez, and his brother in law, Gabriel Contreras.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, TX 78239. A Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, TX 78239.
