Peggy Martinez

Peggy Ann Helen Martinez, of San Antonio, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the age of 54. She was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on August 29, 1965 to Agapito and Louisa (Blea) Martinez.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Josie Maldonado; father, Agapito Martinez; brother, Ricky Martinez; and uncle, Roger Romero.

Survivors include her children, Raymond Gonzales, Lisa Gomez and husband Louis, Chato Rodriguez, and Paco Rodriguez; grandchildren, Victor Gomez, Jr., Annalyse Rodriguez; mother, Louisa Martinez; siblings, Freddie Martinez and wife Debbie, Tony Martinez, Antonia Fuentes and Carol Negron; as well as numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Peggy had a huge heart that was known to go out of her way for others. She especially loved her family and was a loving mother. Some of her hobbies included, playing bingo, listening to oldies music and painting furniture and other objects. She will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, April 9, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Holy Rosary will be recited at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Friday, April 10, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. The Burial will follow at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
