It is with great sadness that the family of Pedro Vega announces his passing, on Friday 25, 2018, at age 81, after a long illness.
A native of Edcouch, Texas, he served in the Army and retired after 20 years of loyal service, Pedro served 2 Tours of Duty in Vietnam. He then went on to work in civil service for over 10 years, before he fully retired.
Pedro will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his children, Isabel Vega-Alvarado, Ana Alicia Vega, Pete Vega and Daniel Vega, his son-in-law, Iginio Alvarado as well as his grandchildren, Suzanne Lisette Henry, Haleigh Vega, Alynna Victoria Vega-Martinez and great grand-child Liliana. He will also be lovingly remembered and missed by his sisters, Victoria Alviar, Delicia Esquivel, Michela Belmares, brother-in-law, Antonio Alviar Jr., brother, Antonio Vega, sister-in-law Mary Ann Vega and additional sisters, Helen Hernandez and Maggie Vega.
Pedro had a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, etc., who will also greatly miss him as well.
Pedro is predeceased by his wife Maria Guadalupe Vega, his mother, Dora Esquivel, his father, Romelo Vega and his brother, Silverio Esquivel and sister, Reynalda Martinez.
