Paul Cooley

Paul Douglas Cooley passed away on July 9th, 2015 at the age of 55. He was born at Chelsea Naval Air Station, MA on February 4th, 1960 to Earl Seldon Cooley, Jr. and his wife, Mary Lee Chamberlain. . Paul is survived by his mother, Mary Lee Cooley, a brother, Earl S. Cooley III and his sister, Dorothy Cooley. He also leaves behind his step-daughters Leslie Blackburn and Shanna Carver Hunter, grandchildren Heather and Mathew Towner. Also his aunts Theresa Svestka, Deborah Cooley and Linda Cooley as well as many cousins. Paul was a graduate of Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz, class of 1978 and an employee of Sun Belt Industries. All who knew Paul will remember his friendship and generosity, and his love of just about anything out doors. Particularly, his passion for motorcycles. Riding, repairing and just being around them was a source of great joy. A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx. 78239 on Tuesday, July 14th, 2015 between 5:00pm and 8:00pm. A graveside Service held Friday, July 17th, 2015, at 10:00am also at Chapel Hill with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Paul's memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and/or the National Kidney Foundation.
