The world lost a beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Nicolasa D. Rodriguez, on November 4, 2022, at the age of 87.
Nicolasa retired from SAISD, where she was a cook for Burbank High School Cafeteria. She retired to care for her beloved husband. Her heart was devoted to her family. Mom was a fantastic cook. She loved her Bingo. Overall, her family and friends were her everything. She will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband Raul Rodriguez, Sr., parents Enemencio and Dominga De La Peña, brothers; Domingo and Michael De La Peña, sisters; Elvira Hernandez, Elosa Rodriguez, and Emma Sanchez, daughter Maria Lozolla and grandson Roy Rodriguez, IV.
Nicolasa is survived by her children Roy, Jr., David and Edward Rodriguez and Beatrice Peña; sister, Trinidad (Trini) Aasen; brothers, Enemencio, Jr., Danny, and Jimmy De la Peña; 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous other family and friends.
At the family's request everyone will meet at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church, 1314 Fair Ave for Mass on Monday, November 14, 2022 which will begin at 12 noon.
