Nelda Davis

Nelda June Davis of Converse, TX, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 28th, 2022 at the age of 85.

Nelda was born in Dorchester, TX on November 30, 1936 to Trude and Ruby Carney.

Nelda is preceded in death by her parents, Trude and Ruby, three brothers and three sisters, her son Jackie and his wife Cathy, her son Stan and a granddaughter, Savannah.

Nelda is survived by her husband William of 64 and 1/2 years, her son Steve and his wife Sandy, her daughter Pam and her husband Ron.

Nelda is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Nelda was a Mother and Grandmother figure to many others.

Nelda was a devout Christian woman, she loved her Lord and Savior. This showed in all that she did, from being the choir director to Vacation Bible School leader and many other acts of service in between. Nelda was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church/True Life Church for 48 years. She loved her church family with her whole heart.

Outside of church Nelda enjoyed outings with her Sweetheart and dining out almost every day. She loved playing board games and cards with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the Yahtzee Queen!!!

Nelda’s abundant love and kindness will be missed by everyone who knew her!
