Nathaniel Antonio Thomas

Nathaniel Antonio Thomas was diagnosed with Esophageal Atresia and Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) in his heart in his 2oth week of fetal life. After his birth he was in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for 257 days.

Nathaniel had four surgeries with the most recent one on September 20, 2023. Despite his many surgeries and health problems, when he was at home he loved to go outside. He also enjoyed bath time, cuddling, and being rocked to sleep by his Mimi. Nathaniel also enjoyed the splashpad, swinging on the swing set at the park, he enjoyed his mom singing to him, and watching movies with his brothers and sister.

When Nathaniel was able to be at home, he was inseparable from his twin brother, Zachary.
