Michael Glenn Gibbs, Jr.

Michael Glenn Gibbs, Jr., age 55 of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Methodist Northeast Hospital, surrounded by his loving family after a heroic battle with cancer.

He was a native of Memphis, Tennessee.

Michael or Glenn as most of us knew him, served proudly and with distinction in the United States Navy on board the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) 1992-1996. He was also proud of his career at Improved Piping Products, where he was a faithful employee for more than 26 years.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Michael Glenn Gibbs, Sr. and Janey K. Gibbs.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Marie Gibbs; his children, Tyler A. Gibbs, Brandy N. Gibbs, Brittany L. Gibbs, all of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Gregg R. Gibbs of Leoma, Tennessee; nephews, Aiden Gibbs and Hunter Gibbs, also from Leoma, Tennessee.

The funeral will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Crematory and Memorial Park, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Road, San Antonio, Texas 78239 on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
