Melvin was not only a dedicated serviceman but also a loving husband. He was married to his beloved Margaret Flickinger for an incredible 59 years. Melvin was also a loving father, survived by his children April Stewart, Gina (Tim)Wright, Stephanie Broswell, Jeff (Cynthia) Flickinger, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He played an integral role in their lives, instilling in them the values of hard work, determination, and compassion. Melvin's guidance and support shaped his children into the remarkable individuals they are today.
In addition to his immediate family, Melvin is survived by his sisters Janice (Charles)Locke and Mary Ann Burgess-Mullen. Their bond was unbreakable, and their shared memories will forever be cherished.
Melvin Flickinger's impact on those around him was immeasurable. His dedication, care, hard work, creativity, motivation, leadership, and love will continue to inspire and guide us.
