Marshall Louis Urbaneck

July 11, 1959 — July 30, 2024

Marshall Louis Urbaneck joyfully joined his family in heaven on July 30, 2024. Marshall was born on July 11, 1959 to Frank G Urbaneck Sr and Doris Nell (Lott) Urbaneck. He was the mischievous younger brother of Frank G Urbaneck Jr. Marshall had a spirit for adventure and took pride in his love for his family, rock and roll, and hunting and fishing. In his youth, Marshall worked alongside his brother, Frank, in the oil field and became the tag along to Frank and Yvonne, his sister-in-law, in their travels to drilling sites all over Texas and New Mexico. Later, Marshall worked as a driller overseas in the UAE and relished his memories of the people he met there. After his time overseas, he spent many years working for Precision Electric for his lifelong friend, Billy. Marshall took great joy in hunting and fishing, as evident through not only the hundreds of pictures of deer, goat, hogs, and fish but also the many mounts that lined the walls of his home. He loved his time hunting most alongside his father, brother, and nephew. He often spoke about how he yearned to have those days back. Marshall loved rock and roll and spent many nights at concerts for some of his favorites like KISS, Poison, and AC/DC. He loved to throw parties under the carport in his youth alongside his brother and best friends Mark, Phil, and Davey. They enjoyed hanging out, listening to music, and tinkering with their cars. Marshall was especially proud of his Ford Bronco. Marshall loved his close knit, small family. He was an "Uncle Bubba" to Amanda Drzymalla (Joseph Drzymalla, husband) and Frank Urbaneck (Nichole Urbaneck, wife) and wore that title proudly with a "Don't Mess With Bubba" bumper sticker on the back window of his truck. He was overjoyed to be a Great-Uncle Bubba to Alicia (Alise) Drzymalla, Madison (Maddysn) Drzymalla, Samuel Drzymalla, Charlie Drzymalla, and Autumn Urbaneck. He was always present and cheering at Samuel's football games and grinned from ear to ear when Charlie began calling him "Grandpa". He was ecstatic that Autumn was finally getting over her fear of his big beard and long hair and was so excited to show her when they were recently cut. He was looking forward to continuing building memories with all of "the babies". Although his family and friends are sad he is gone, there is joy to be found in knowing he is back with his father, mother, and brother who he has missed every day for the last 12+ years. He is being laid to rest with his beloved dog, Precious Louis Urbaneck.
