Markaylin Drisker

June 29, 2002 — September 12, 2022

Markaylin Drisker (Root) was the beloved daughter of Marcus and Brandie Drisker. She was nicknamed Root because she was the root of the family. Root was a free spirit and to know her was to love her. She loved nothing more than to laugh and to make others laugh and she would often do this by performing silly dances. She had an infectious personality that would light up any room. Root loved to eat and her favorites were seafood boils and hot wings. In the weeks prior to her passing, she was discovering her inner strength and aspired to join the United States Airforce.

She loved Christopher White, who was her soulmate, best friend and boyfriend for over three years. Christopher planned to ask her parents for her hand in marriage. He will miss her dearly.

Msrkaylin was preceded in death by her Great Grandmother Annie Dell Melvin.

She is survived by her parents Marcus and Brandie, her siblings Jarik Enlow, Aleeah Enlow, Markessa Drisker, Marcus Drisker Jr., Markeisha (PK), Deonte Johnson and Lynice Keeton; her paternal grandmother, Glendale Drisker and maternal grandmother, Teresa Ritter and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
