Mark Tanis Gonzalez, 33, entered eternal rest on November 6, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to Rodney Guth and Rebeca G. Graham in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 26, 1991.
He is preceded in death by his parents Rodney Guth and Rebeca G. Graham, his grandparents Reynold and Alicia Gonzalez and his uncle’s Reynold Gonzalez Jr., Donald V. Lev and Juan De La Cerda.
Mark is survived by his son Castian Caige, his half-brothers Nick and Ryan, his grandparents Bob and Carol Guth, aunts and uncles Patricia Lev, Diana A. Gonzalez, Blanca De La Cerda, Alex & Sadie Gonzalez, Corina Gonzalez, and Marina & Norris Bodley and many cousins.
Mark attended Judson High School his freshmen year and enjoyed being part of the ROTC program. He graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School. He discovered a talent for being a locksmith and pursued certification from Ashworth Career School. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was inducted into the International Honor Society Delta Epsilon TAU.
Mark dearly loved his son Castian and found great pride and joy in being a father. He loved his parents and missed their guidance. In the last years he became closer to God and spent many hours reading the bible and tried to gain a better understanding of his faith.
Mark loved to go fishing with his friends. He enjoyed barbequing and spending time with those he loved. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Rest in peace beloved son, grandson, nephew and father.
