Margarita Gamboa

Margarita Gamboa, age 77 years, passed away on October 26th, 2015. She was born on July 30th, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas to Vicente Ruiz Sr. and Concha Ruiz (nee Alvarado) who preceded her in death. "Margie" was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved spending time with her sisters finding hidden treasures at yard sales and playing bingo. A big sports fan, Margie loved watching everything from her beloved Spurs to the Kentucky Derby. She is survived by her sons Leonard Gamboa, Gregory Gamboa and wife Vanessa, Christopher J. Gamboa and wife Alisha. She also leaves behind her brother Vicente Ruiz Jr. and sisters Bea Rodarte and husband Frank, Gloria Castillo and husband Jerry. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, and friends who will miss her greatly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ramiro H. Gamboa Sr., son Ramiro H. Gamboa Jr., and brother Bobby Ruiz. A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx. 78239, Thursday, October 29th, 2015 at 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 7:00 pm.
