Manuel Perales
June 27, 1941 — April 22, 2015
Surrounded by his family, Manuel Abelardo Perales ("Belay") went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015 at the age of 73. Born on June 27th 1941, in Encinal, Texas, he is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Elvira Perales and survived by his beloved wife Maria Isabel Perales and his children, Claudia and Marco Perales, Alexandria Ward, grandchildren Nadia Perales, Julian and Sophia Soliz. He also leaves behind several brothers and sisters, Ramon and Aurora Perales, Javier and Elvira Perales, Richard Perales, Amelia Rodriguez, Mary and Benito Martinez, Sara and Miguel Martinez, and Guadalupe and Ricardo Perez. Belay had a giving spirit and a generous heart, not asking for anything in return and he will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Tuesday April 28th at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7355 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78239, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Rosary will be celebrated with Deacon Tim Tate presiding at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Wednesday April 29th at 10:00 am, and interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
