Manuel Cantu

Manuel Sosa Cantu passed away on October 15, 2021. He was born on January 17, 1933 to Manuel Cantu Sr. and Rita Patino in San Antonio Texas.  He resided in Converse Texas.

He is preceded death by his parents, Rita and Manuel, his wife Bertha, sons Cesar, Danny and daughter Sylvia.

Manuel served in the U.S. Army in 1953. Manuel by trade was a Barber and wood worker, carpenter and cabinet maker. Manuel loved to go to the coast, he loved to swim, boxing, say jokes. He was a good father, grandpa, uncle, and brother.
He is survived by 2 sons Manuel Cantu Jr., Richard Cantu; 4 daughters Bertha C Reyes, Isabel C Rodriguez, Rita C Serratos, and Lucy Cavazos; 2 stepsons, Johnny and Roy; 2 stepdaughters, Mary Lou and Yolanda; 2 brothers Cesar Cantu, Epi Patino; 3 sisters Dolores P Blair, Diane P Garcia, and Betty P. Martinez. Manuel is also survived by several grandchildren.
