Lina Ruiz

Lina Ruiz, born on September 22, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas to Carlos and Juanita Ruiz, was called home to be with our Lord on Friday, January 2nd, 2016. Lina was a strong and vibrant woman who was devoted to her family and their happiness. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Valentine, Lupe, Hilaro, Ben, Paul, and Anita. She is survived by Juan Hidalgo and her children; Frank Gonzales and wife Deborah, Jennifer Diaz and husband Eric, Teresa Hidalgo and husband Mike, and Sabrina Hidalgo and husband Erick, and twelve grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings Estella, Maida, Carlos, Robert, Julio, Beatrice, George, Betty, Sam, Irene and Andrea. Lina will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, sister and grandma. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. A rosary will be recited on January 14th, 2016, at 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx 78239.
