Lila Eliu Tue, a retired Special Education bus driver, who provided transportation and care for her special needs students in American Samoa. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and family.
Lila is survived by her 4 daughters Dora Molioo, Ana Talapa, Lila Faafiti, Talaimanu Savusa, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, Faleosalafai Tue and grandson Jeremiah Utuoali'i Savusa.
Lila was born in Leone, American Samoa on June 16, 1956, to Eliu Molio'o and Liua Taumaoe. She was youngest out of 10 siblings.
Lila was a devoted wife, mother, a grandmother as well as great grandmother. She lit up a room with her beautiful smile and graceful presence. A God fearing and hard-working woman who treated everyone and anyone like family. She loved being around her children, grandchildren and great grandson.
A funeral service is scheduled on March 5, 2022. The viewing will be from 9am-11am, following her family service to 1:00pm. Flowers and Condolences may be offered at Chapel Hill Memorial Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas.
