Kyong Nam Kim
August 17, 1951 ~ October 09, 2022
Kyong Nam Kim was born in South Korea and moved to the United States in the 1970's. San Antonio is where he lived his life fixing cars, raising his children and playing golf with friends. He has lived by his wife Young Ja Kim, sons Ben Kim, and Sok Kim, daughter Keum Mi Kim, grandson Jared Kim, and by his brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces, and countless friends.
He was a man of generosity, sarcastic comments, particular ways, simplicity, and a big heart (but would never admit to having one). An entrepreneur and traditional type of man who always reminded me to never make my mom cry or it was my butt that would have to pay! He has overcome cancer along with many other obstacles but his last, I am sorry to say, does not end in such a great way. He is no longer suffering or in pain but in place had to leave his loved ones behind. Please keep in mind that he would want us to keep smiling, laughing, and going on with each day instead grieving for too long because that was just his way, and he is truly resting in peace.
Reception to follow: Food and refreshments Everyone is free to join us. Thank you all for your support.
