Karen Mary Shipp was called home by our heavenly Father on April 4, 2024. She was born on November 4, 1946, in Lansing, Michigan to Joseph G. Kupcho and Wanda M. Marzolf, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her brother Thomas Kupcho. She passed while sleeping peacefully, surrounded by family members. She was an exceptionally intelligent, inquisitive, loving, and devoted lady deeply loved by her family, friends, and associates. She is survived by her husband (Charles A. Shipp), son (Charles A. Shipp, Jr.), daughters (Cheryl Ann Shipp-Catland and Kristin Nicole Shipp), grandchildren (Robert A. Shipp, (Charles A. Shipp III, and Sarah Isabella Shipp), siblings (Diana Korzekwa, Teresa Hamby, Joseph Kupcho, Gregory Kupcho, Marianne Huizar, and Jeanne King), numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family members. She was an accomplished Medical Technologist, who retired from Christus Santa Rosa Hospital System and ministered to many through teaching Sunday School and Bible Study classes. She will be missed and celebrated by all who knew her. She now sees Jesus face to face without a weakened body and sickened system. She would ask of you, “Who do you say Jesus is?”
