Johnny Bernal

Johnny Bernal was born in San Antonio on July 18, 1944. He lived in San Antonio for most of his life and had his own HVAC company for many years. He passed away at the age of 77 on Thursday, July 29, 2021.

Johnny married Lupe Gonzales in 1963. They had 9 children, 7 boys and 2 girls. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Johnny is survived by his children, Johnny and wife Shay, Richard and wife Aurora, Ray, Laurie, Mark, Jason, Missy Cisneros and husband Frank, Jeff, and wife Sjanna, Moses, 27 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, brothers Bennie and Armando and sister Frances.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lupe and his father Benito and Mother Janie.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., with a Viewing to follow. The Burial will take place at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m.
