Jessie Bernice Williams was born October 4, 1945 in Kenedy, TX to Jessie and Geneva Williams.
Jessie Bernice passed away peacefully at the Windcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation facility.
Jessie Bernice accepted Christ as her savior at an early age. Bernice began her Christian journey under the leadership of the late Rev. J. J. Short. Jessie Bernice later became a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Andrew Wilson, where she served faithfully until her death.
Jessie Bernice loved her family and enjoyed fellowshipping anytime she got the chance. Although she spent her latter years at the Windcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation facility, her favorite past time hobbies were playing with her baby dolls who she dearly referred to as “Baby”, collecting jewelry, and singing old hymns.
Jessie Bernice was preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Geneva Williams, brothers Judge Clarence Williams and Robert (Cuda) Freelon.
Jessie Bernice Williams leaves to cherish her loving memories, her sisters-in-law Jerelyn Williams and Shirley J. Freelon; her nephews Clarence Williams and Tyrome Freelon; nieces Lori Glaspie, Veronica J. Godley (Kevin), Yolanda Freelon, and Tamara Freelon-Steen (Jon) and a host of other loving relatives and family.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them that love his appearing. II Timothy 4: 7-8
