Jeff Bassham

Jeff R. Bassham went to be with his Lord and savior on November 23rd, 2016 at his home in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 12th, 1954 in Harlan, Kentucky to Harold F. Bassham and Audrey Brumbaugh who preceded him in death. After attending college at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha, Jeff served proudly in the United States Navy for 26 years and received numerous awards and commendations. After retiring, he lived briefly in North Dakota before settling in San Antonio. He enjoyed traveling and was particularly fond of visiting Rome and the other capitals of Europe. Jeff will be remembered as a devoted family man and proud Navy veteran. He is survived by Jenny, his beloved wife of 14 years and his brother William Bassham of Aiken, North Carolina. In addition to his parents, Jeff is preceded in death by a sister, Cathy. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx 78239 is handling funeral arrangments which remain pending.
