Jayne Ellen Jennings, age 70, of San Antonio, passed away in the mid-afternoon hours of Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Vitas Hospice Facility in San Antonio. Jayne was born on October 16, 1949 in Logan, Ohio to the late Stanley Addison and Velma Irene Lambert Spencer.
Jayne married the love of her life and her best friend, Garland Eugene Jennings, on April 23, 1983. They welcomed their son, John Jennings, into this world on January 26, 1986. Jayne was an active wife, mother and friend who truly enjoyed life – just living made her go. She loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, especially along the coast. Jayne was an active volunteer for the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Those who knew Jayne best will never forget that she had no will power when it came to buying shoes.
