James Barrett Jr.

James Colin Barrett, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. He was born on November 11, 1950 to Shirley Jean Goldstein and James Colin Barrett, Sr. in San Antonio, Texas.

He graduated from Highlands High School, San Antonio, Texas in 1969. He spent a long career in the telephone business and security work. He was an avid motorcyclist.

He is survived by his best friend ever, Kay Barrett. He is also survived by his two sisters, Patty Marshall (Alan) and Judy Thomason (Jimmy); two daughters, Toni Silva (David) and Terri Doumit (Stephen) and seven grandchildren; Randy, Scott, Gillian, Brett, Ethan, Daniel and Caleb.

He will be remembered for his caring and generous soul.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Memorial Medical Nursing Home and the Holy Savior Hospice for their care of our loved one.

An Inurment will be held at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
