Guadalupe Velez

Guadalupe O. Velez, of San Antonio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the age of 88. She was born in La Vernia, Texas on February 14, 1932 to Tomas and Alejandra (Ortiz) Ojeda.

She was a loving mom and grandma, who lived life to fullest.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alejo Velez; sons, Rudy and Jerry Velez and daughter, Ninfa Velez; as well as her parents.

Survivors include children, Rosalina V. Campos, Frances V. Lopez, Alex Velez and wife Juliana, Yvonne Hughes and husband Roy, Richard Velez and wife Lisa, and Julia Perez and husband Gilbert; daughter in law, Alvina Velez; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved very much.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a time of Visitation until 1:30 p.m. The Burial will be held the Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
