Geronimo Velez

Geronimo "Rudy" Velez has left this Earth and is now in complete peace and Serenity with Our Father in Heaven, Thank You Jesus!
He lived up to his God given name of Geronimo, and was always a real Warrior. Serving in the Vietnam War at a young age prepared Rudy for the battle that raged on within his body. He suffered with cancer for over 10 years. Rudy was a very strong willed man that will live on in all of our hearts. He fought this dreadful disease every day that he lived and went out fighting till the very last breath that he took.
He will be surely missed and is preceded in death by his father , Alejo, Brother, Jerry, and Sister, Ninfa Velez and Grand Daughter Ashley Deleon. Rudy Velez is Survived by His adoring Wife of 40 years, Alvina, daughters and son in laws, Matilda and Joe Granado, Anita and David Deleon, Adela and Richard Hernandez, Melody and Benny Luna and 12 Beloved Grand Children: Anastacia, Estephan, Jared,Christian, Amaryllis, Adilynne,Richard, Victoria, Lyric, Landen, and Hendrix, His mother, Guadalupe Velez, his siblings , Rose ,Frances,Yvonne,Julie, Alex,and Richard, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rudy's Wishes have always been that upon his death we are to celebrate and be comforted in the fact that he has no more pain and suffering, and is finally at peace! One final request during this Celebration of life is that any and all attendees refrain from wearing black! Come in your brightest dress attire and celebrate with the entire Family!
