Ezekiel Hobbs,78, passed away on July 5, 2022, at his home in Cibolo, TX. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 25, 1943, he was the son of Hester and Fannie Hobbs.
Ezekiel was a proud member of the Army and Air Force where he served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. After his military service Ezekiel enjoyed a successful career in transportation until his retirement.
He was a member of VFW chapters in California and Texas. Being a disabled veteran himself, he was an ardent advocate for other veterans. Ezekiel enjoyed live music, cars, and Las Vegas. Occasionally Ezekiel would share his rich and beautiful singing voice. He will be remembered for his tenacity, his boundless laugh, and his love of family.
Ezekiel is survived by his sister Julia, sons Anthony, James, and Nazeeh, grandchildren Garrett, Semaj, Kaya, Jimae, Cree, and Marcus, and great grandchildren Adonis and Jasper. Nieces Antoinette, Michelle, and nephews, Michael, Mark, Harry, Chris, and Troy.
