Elaine Gardner

Elaine Tillie Gardner was born on Dec.14th, 1943. The Lord took her home on Wednesday April 20,2022. Elaine was blessed with a loving family, she married the love of her life Ronny Gardner (which was also her childhood sweet heart from elementary school) in January 1960. They had two children, a son, Ronald in 1962, and a daughter, Chrisann in 1968, Elaine enjoyed cooking and baking, and also helped her mother and father, Hilda and Elmer Brehm run the family business, “Browns”, where she cooked daily lunch specials and was very well known for having the best burgers in town.

She enjoyed spending time with family and every Sunday would make a big dinner for the family to get together. Elaine had a green thumb, she loved her garden and she could grow just about anything. At one time she even threw out some orange seeds without even planting them in the ground and months later there sprang up an orange tree, “truly amazing”.

She also enjoyed to watch the hummingbirds feed at the feeder on her porch. Everyone that knew her, knew that she was the kindest, sweetest, giving person. She loved giving gifts to everyone she knew, always thinking of others, never herself. She had the purest heart than anyone could ever have, “Matthew 5:8 blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Elaine loved her family and friends dearly, but her biggest joy were her two grandchildren Nathan Gardner which she called her  “darlin” and Iliana Gardner which she called “Lana” and her great granddaughter Genevieve (GiGi) Gardner which she loved to sing songs with.

She also looked forward to talking with her sister Bobby Schroat which was also her best friend, everyday and watching General Hospital with her.

Elaine was preceded in death, by her father Elmer Brehm, mother Hilda Brehm, Brother Gary Brehm, Father In-Law Archie Gardner, Husband Ronny Gardner, Brother In-Law Carl Schroat, Mother In-Law Margaret Lovelace, Brother in law Bill Lovelace. She leaves to cherish her memories her children Ronald Gardner, (daughter in law, Irma Gardner) Chrisann Calk( son in law, Raymond Calk) Grandchildren Nathan Gardner, Iliana Gardner, Raymond Calk Jr, Veronica Calk, great grandchildren, Jonathan Calk, Aubree Calk, Ryan Allen Calk and Genevieve (GiGi) Gardner. Sister Bobbie Schroat, Nephews Rick and Danny Schroat ,Sister In-Law Connie Chavez and Brother In-Law Ray Chavez, Rusty Lovelace, and David Lovelace. Mother In-Law Juanita Gardner, Brother In-Law Kevin Gardner, Aunt Annie Gardner, and Uncle JB Gardner.
