Edward Astran

Edward Chapa Astran, age 52, passed away suddenly on May 2nd, 2015. Born in New Braunfels, Texas, August 30th, 1962, he was preceded in death by his parents Francisco Astran and Eva Maria Chapa. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Josephine; his son Christopher and daughter Heidi Quintanilla. Also his brothers Joe Ruiz and John Ramirez; his sisters Stella Gonzales, Rosana Leos and Liz Collins, and 2 grandchildren. He will be missed greatly but also remembered for his love for shooting pool. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 5:00pm 'till 8:00pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx. 78239. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm with Deacon Jacques Abat presiding. A funeral will be Thursday, May 7th at 10:00am, 2015 also at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow immediately at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
