Dorris Moore

Mrs. Dorris Moore, born on January 27, 1933 went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2016. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Milton Moore, son Wayne Moore and sister Mary Jo Hierholzer. She is survived by her son Jimmy Moore, her daughter Melinda Flores, her sister Bobbie Stone, her 8 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dorris was born in Hubbard, Texas to Elbert and Mary Ellen Danford. At an early age she moved to San Antonio and graduated from South San High School. She married on September 18, 1950 and spent her life devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and various other family members and friends. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tex. 78239, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Brother Ronnie Morgan, followed by a graveside service at San Fernando Cemetery III.
