Delia Manrique

Delia S. Manrique, 83, of San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. She was born on May 5, 1931 in Beeville, Texas, the daughter of the late Ismael and Maria Saldivar. Delia was the 3rd oldest of 10 siblings. Delia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Raymond Alvarado; son, Johnny Manrique and Francis Trinidad; son and daughter-in-law George and Bethanie Manrique; son Michael Manrique; grandchildren, Lisa and Randy Sanchez; Jason Alvarado, Christian Michael Manrique; Great-grandchildren Alexis and Christian Alexander Sanchez, brothers, Pete, Julian, and Rudolph Saldivar; sisters Dora Martinez, Minnie Martinez, and Mary Sanchez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus; her brothers Ruben and Nino Saldivar; and sister Anita Cuellar. Delia has a special place in the hearts of those she touched, and will be remembered with love and laughter. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7355 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Texas, 78239. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at St. Monica's Catholic Church with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetary.
