Dawn was a fighter in life and spent the last 2 years battling breast cancer. This last year she began having problems breathing the cancer had moved to her lungs and bones.
Dawn had a beautiful spirit and loved to laugh, dance, sing. She love working in her garden and watch sunsets. One of her favorite animals was the butterfly. She related its life with the symbolic struggle and the resulting beauty of allowing God to transform one into the person he truly created them to be.
Dawn loved and trusted God through many struggles that she learned to lean on his Grace and Love, as she allowed Him to transform her into the person she was to become.
Dawn work as a Payroll Administrator for several companies. She was a leader at Haven for Hope where she made many friends and became a shining light and an example of how to overcome obstacles in one’s life.
Dawns favorite pets were her cats Jake and "Not my cat" who were with her to the end of her life.
Dawn is preceded in death by her Parents Lee and Vicki Cox, nephew & great nephew. She leaves behind her loving sister and her husband Darlene Newsome & Paul Newsome and loving brother and his wife Dennis Huntley & Susie Huntley. She also leaves behind many Nephews, Nieces, great Nieces, Nephews and many friends who love her very much.
Dawn you will be dearly missed, wait for us in God’s Love until we see you again.
