Daniel Guajardo

Daniel Guajardo, 57, passed away at Santa Rosa Medical Center in San Antonio, Tx on Friday July 1st, 2022. He was born in Bishop, Texas on Friday February 5th of 1965. Moving to Houston, Tx in the 1980s where he met and married his wife of 37 years, Martina Mireles Guajardo.

Danny the Barber as many knew him, was a professional barber and shop owner for most of his career. He epitomized the definition of a provider for his family, which included three children, Danielle Gosa (Anthony Gosa), Daniel Guajardo (Tanya Guajardo), and Ruben Guajardo (Tuesday Guajardo).

Danny is survived by his grandchildren who he loved deeply, brother Ruben Guajardo (Yvonne Guajardo) & Sister Pricilla Hinojosa (Patrick Hinojosa). He is proceeded in death by his parents Ruben Guajardo Sr. & Eudelia Gonzales Garza. As well as his beloved wife Martina Guajardo.

Leaving behind a legacy of clean fast haircuts and in true Barber fashion the best advice and anecdotes while in his Barber chair. Daniel achieved his dream of owning his own Barber Shop and was the proud owner of Danny’s Barber Shop for over 18 years. He never missed a Dallas Cowboys game; win or lose. A loyal fan and experienced fisherman. The beach was his home away from home. His talents were endless and visible to all that knew him. He had such passion for music and working with his hands. Years of practice and dedication allowed him to the opportunity to play the guitar and harmonica in a band by the name of Heavy Cruiser with his brother and closest friends; the joy and the smile that his hobbies and past times brought him were something that he shared freely and taught others to enjoy with incredible patience.

We find peace knowing he is joined in paradise by the love of his life Martina Guajardo. He will be greatly missed.
