Corazon Cortado

Corazon Alfonso Cortado was born on December 15, 1946 in San Fernando, Pampanga Philippines, to Esteban Martin Alfonso and Marta Dayrit Alfonso. Her parents and siblings, Mario Alfonso and Norma Aquino, predeceased her. She was happily married to Ernesto Cortado for 52 years and was blessed with 5 children. Corazon was survived by her husband, children, and 6 siblings.

Corazon moved from the Philippines to Guam, U.S.A., in 1996 and worked at Guam Airport Hotel for 10 years. She retired early due to disability. In 2006, Corazon and Ernesto relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, and lived there for 8 years. Afterwards, they moved to San Antonio, Texas for good.

Corazon loved listening to music and news from the Philippines on Youtube. Her happiest moments were when her siblings called and chatted with her, and the achievements made by her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed eating fruits and delicacies from the Philippines, including native meals cooked by her husband.

Corazon cherished every moment spent with her family members.

She was lovingly cared for by her husband, daughters, and grandchildren.
